                         OLD CAMPUS UNIVERSITY OF SINDH, HYDERABAD
 University started work from 3^rd april 1947 and 4 years Allama I.I Qazi became vice chancellor of University Of Sindh in Karachi, In 1951 university of sindh was shifted from Karachi to Hyderabad in beautiful and the historical building (N.V-Nauvidyalia) which is called as Elsa Qaza Campus and Old Campus. In development of university of sindh  Allama I.I Qazi played the most important role, who is always memorable. Because the university once again shifted from hyderabad at the distance of 18 kilometres crossing the Indus river in the hills of Jamshoro, wher the work of construction of university of sindh was in progress, so in hyderabad Elsa Qazi Campus is also known as OLD CAMPUS.

  The central bulding of Old Campus University Of Sindh was constructed by late R.B Deewan Pribhdas Shewakram we know that sindh is known as “Door Of Islam”  and it has identity of the land of saints. While having a look towards the  past of this beautiful land, we’ll know about education, literature art and researches , which is dignity of sindh. where such masters of education and literature  were born, their services in religion, education and literatuer  are unprecedented in the history. for higher education it was necessary that there must have been a university.In sindh for higher education the need of a university was being felt since 1885, and dream came true after 50 years in 1935 and after long time in 1947 Sindh University act no. xvii  was passed by sindh legislative assembly and on 3^rd april 1947, university of sindh was inaurgrated as famous NGV high school in Karachi. After establishment of Sindh University, the governer of that time Sir France Mudy  as chancellor and Sir Ghulam Hussain Hidayatullah as pro-chancellor Advani in 1897 building was constructed for the purpose of high school, which was known as (N.V ) Nauvidyalia that time. Children of high status and non muslims were studying without any fees. This well constructed and beautifull building is also famous because of  “ The Tower of Clock”.

This is a double story building which is consist of approximately 30 to 35 rooms including a hall, In this historical nauvidyalia, Old Campus University Of Sindh was inaurgrated and in 1961 Dr. N.A Baloch Model school was opened in this historical building, In present time Syed Ahsanullah Rashidhi is the principal of this school. It is divided in 3 sections , 1 primary section , 2 secondary section and 3 higher secondary section. In primary section ther are 11 classrooms, total students in this section are 500 and the number of features is 25 in which majority of female teachers , In secondary section there are 20 classrooms and students are admitted about 1000, in this section there are 25 teachers , and in higher secondary section there are 4 classrooms , 2 classes for first year (pre-medical and pre-engineering) and other 2 classes for second year (pre-medical and pre-engineering) There are 140 students in first year and about 200 students are in second year, There are 9 professors and lecturers in this section . All students of Old Campus have facility of pick and drop conveince, a large wide playground is also located in  centre of the building where students play games .While entering the main gate of Old Campus. On left side there is a building where students are facilitated to do their B.Ed M.Ed non-formal programes, there is a cantene in this building, the facility for refreshment of students is also available, On the left side of the building there is also a bank (UBL) where students submit their examination and other challan fees.

 In early years Old Campus University Of Sindh has inaurgrated the faculty of education for the purpose of B.Ed, M.Ed(hons) and M.Phil programs. Students of city hyderbad are comfortable to take admission in this faculty who are interested in these programes. Building of faculty is located behind the central building of Old Campus, It is well constructed and beautifull building. An inaugration ceremony of new building construction was held on september 17, 2015 in Hyderbad Old Campus, It is constructed and finished work with help of the american people by USAID. Another event of inaugration ceremony of travelling expo titled with “energy for sustainable world” was organized at Dr. N.A Baloch Model School, central building of Old Campus Hyderabad. Embassy of France and scientific, technical, industrial, and cultural centre under the auspicious of the unioversity of sindh jamshoro in a bid to understanding the relationship between enrgy and development, The future difficulties of accessing stocks from certain sources and the effects our constantly increasing needs have on climate change . 

This is all about Old Campus UOS a centre of education in hyderabad and this expandable and historical building, in wich many programes have been organized every year like educational conference for education and culture in sindh in which many artists came and performed and students also participate in many activities like debates,tabloes,singing and speaches etc. students have facilities to participate in any activity which they interest in like sports.quiz compitition and experiments in lab. Old Campus has given us many scholars and educationist and its a reward for sindh.
