           Interview with Prof Dr: Mujeeb-u-ddin Memon Sehrai

   Dr: Mujeeb-u-ddin Memon Sehrai the Vice Chancellor of Sindh Agriculture University (S.A.U). He was born in 10 November 1963 in district Dadu. He got his early education from his village, where has he sacrificed for to get his higher education. Then he did (P.H.D) in Mechanical engineering in (Sussex, U.K London) in 1995. Before being a vice chancellor he was well known professor in Mehran university.

Q) What do you consider to be the main challenges facing in the S.A.U?                                                   

 Ans: The real challenges which we are going to facing some problems about the infra structure of the university there is lot of departments which are not well settled so it’s challenge for us to build departments more attractive to the students and we continue to attract the best and brightest students and academics for the future.

Q) Being a Vice Chancellor of the S.A.U what changes have u made?

Ans: First of all I introduced the Academic calendar of S.A.U and then introduced Agriculture calendar and sports calendar. Introduced the events about 150 re activities for farmer and growers, International big conferences, build new computer labs and proper classes in time these changes has not given before as we do now.

Q) How was your experience as a student?

Ans: As a student I enjoyed my studies from the beginning primary to PhD and did lot of activities and social actions. I always had been concentrated in my studies to achieve my aim.

Q) Which facilities have you given to the students?

Ans: I have given 11 hostels which are rehabilitated and build up new labs for students where they can learn easily. We build up new canteens for the students and all others facilities which students were hoping for.

Q) Would you consider yourself a quite hands on V.C?

Ans:  I think I’ve pretty hands on this because as myself I did lot of things in this university for the students, for the staff members, for the chairmen of department s and also give them lot of facilities which they were suffering before so as my opinion I’m contemptible for the quite hands on V.C.

Q) If you were not a V.C what would be your dream job be?

Ans: To be honest if I were not a V.C so my dream job will be “Advocate” because I like to be part of court and likely to become a good advocate.

Q) Is any issue in S.A.U regarding to the security purpose?

Ans: Regarding to security purpose there is no any security problems in our university. Security staff is working good no any misbehaving no any sexual harassment means the role of security is going up day by day.

Q) In your opinion what is competition?

Ans: I would like to say about competition generally people wants to achieve some unique feat so then they competes with opposite once similarly students compete with their opponents to getting higher marks in exams but make sure sometimes it would be harmful and it will be converted in conflict scene.

Q) How you see S.A.U in upcoming time?

Ans: In upcoming time S.A.U will become very remarkable many things I have to do now for the betterment of the university.

Q) Is there transport problem in S.A.U?

Ans: probably we have around 100 new points which I have been issued for the students. So no any transport problem in university.
